Use the Following guide to learn how to utilise the functionality of the Zoom Tool in Illustrator:
1) Zoom Tool = Press Tool or press “Z”
2) Pan Screen = Press “H” and then Click Mouse and Drag
3) Zoom In = Ctrl +
4) Zoom Out = Ctrl -
5) Zoom Artboard Extents = Ctrl 0
6) Zoom Region = Press "Z" and Drag a box around the desired region
