Sketchup - Sphere Creation Tutorial
1) There is a very simple method in sketchup to create a sphere. First, draw a circle with the desired radius of your sphere. Then copy it, and rotate it so that it stands perpendicular to the original circle.
2) Now, move the new circle from the center to the original circles center. Draw a line right down the middle of the vertical circle, and erase away one half of it like shown
3) Select the original circle circumference as the path, then using the follow me tool select the semi circle. Now you should have generated a complete sphere, as shown
