Sketchup - Create Lathe Work Tutorial

1) There is a very simple method in sketchup to illustrate lathe work. First we must create a path for the "follow me" tool to follow, in this case the circle. Then, create a single planar shape which you want to be copied around the path, like shown.

2) Now, simply select the path, then select the follow me tool. Next, click on the object and you should see it extruded along the path to give you a 3D “lathed” element, as shown.
